Samantha Gellert
LCSW
Sam is from a large family, is currently engaged, and loves pilates, reading, plants, and game nights. She doesn’t believe in being a “blank slate” therapist—she shows up as a real person, bringing warmth, lived experience, and genuine care to every session.
Approach & Values
Samantha works with adults, including college and graduate students. She has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community. With her clients, Sam navigates depression, anxiety, identity, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem, disordered eating, and body-image.
As a trauma-informed clinician, Sam believes people are capable of real change and a brighter future. Drawing from IFS, DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic theory, she tailors her approach to explore past and present experiences to understand patterns, emotions, and relationships—and to create lasting growth.
