Georgia Rodman

MFT-I

Before landing on a clinical path, Georgia studied and worked in social work, speech pathology, early childhood development, addiction recovery, and behavioral health. She built a career in behavioral health leadership and currently serves as Director of Clinical Collaboration for a leading New York program. Her work in developing treatment partnerships sparked a deeper desire to support individuals one-on-one, leading her to formalize her clinical training with a focus on trauma, creativity, and embodied healing.

Georgia is a Certified Trauma Professional, Certified Recovery Coach, Certified Special Needs Yoga Instructor, and Certified Meditation Instructor. She has experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other special needs and is currently studying play therapy. A native New Yorker who has traveled much of the world, Georgia enjoys travel, reading, making art, and walking everywhere.

Therapeutic Approach

Georgia is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches, family intervention, and a variety of trauma therapy modalities, including art therapy, psychodrama, experiential and somatic approaches. She collaborates closely with DBT clinicians and incorporates DBT-informed skills into her work.

Georgia brings a warm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence to therapy, informed by both her professional experience and her personal recovery journey. She helps individuals reconnect with their own inner wisdom and resilience so that lasting change can take root.
