Blake Brinkman

After earning a BA in Chemistry and Coaching, Blake realized that his true calling lay in helping human chemistry and coaching. While working full-time, he pursued a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. As the Youth and Families Director for 423 communities, Blake has an extensive background in student and family ministry. Integrating his expertise in recovery, he specializes in the intersection of spirituality and mental health. He has also been instrumental in launching a non-profit dedicated to empowering adolescents (and their family’s) recovery from addiction. Growing up in Atlanta, Calgary, and mostly Houston, Blake retains his southern roots while wholeheartedly embracing his adopted city of New York.
Growing up with an autistic brother in a complex family, Blake has a profound desire to alleviate human suffering and elevate humanity. Outside of his professional life, Blake enjoys softball in the park, rock climbing, hiking, dancing, Broadway shows, and spending quality time with his wife and friends.

Blake focuses on practical strategies and evidence-based practices to promote healing and growth. He believes that many of our struggles stem from past pain and familial dynamics that get us out of alignment with our true selves. Blake empowers clients to experience profound healing and transformation.
Drawing from Addiction Recovery, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Attachment Theory, Blake offers an integrative and personalized process. He helps clients understand themselves, transform their beliefs, and build healthier relationships, ultimately leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life.
