Mark Mineo, MSW-I
Are you a queer or gay person in NYC and struggling with relationships, work, or isolation? I practice from a queer-affirmative, culturally responsive framework that will allow you to grow a capacity for self-discovery. Often people who come to see me for therapy are facing combined challenges including anxiety or depression.
Even if it seems you are succeeding, the stressors of living in NYC can inhibit an ability to feel content and envision goals beyond the immediate future. We will develop a therapeutic partnership and a collaborative, supportive space to help you reach your goals.
Whether you struggle with situational challenges related to career, relationship conflicts, a recent life change, grief, immigration, or traumatic experiences related to your LGBTQIA+ identity, together, we will find ways to amplify healthy adaptations and work toward resolutions.
Through open communication and collaboration in a safe environment, we can make progress to what you find most important. As an entrepreneur who returned to graduate school to pursue counseling to support others in manifesting their dreams, I know that change comes from small, thoughtful steps taken over time. I look forward to meeting you!
